A man and a woman in Florida had been married for five and a half decades. However, that all fell apart recently when the woman discovered that her husband had been having an affair with another woman. It was a long-term relationship, and it was so serious that reports claim they’d been planning to get married for more than a decade.
The two who actually were married decided to split up, but the woman is now suing her husband and the other parties, as well. She claims that he spent at least $11 million on the woman, her three daughters and her businesses.
The husband admitted to it. He made the other woman the beneficiary on some insurance policies, bought her jewelry and horses, and bought homes that cost over $2.8 million. He also paid legal bills for both the woman and her daughters as well as college tuition costs, luxury vehicles and boats, and covered their living expenses.
Even with that admission, or perhaps because of it, the woman says that she thinks her husband may have given away twice as much as he’s admitting to. She is now taking steps to stop the transfer of assets, and she’s suing to recover at least a portion of the money that was given away. She had many health problems while this was all going on, including Parkinson’s Disease.
